Especially in winter <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" /> I'd do what my neighbour with the soft top jeep did (jeep commando), he made a liner out of nylon and holofil that velcros in to the soft top. I can also make a homemade hardtop out of fiberglass.
