Anybody have info on swapping a 2.6L with fuel injection (from a 89?) into my 87 Trooper II? Any tips will be much appreciated! It has a 5 speed trans and a worn out engine (bad head & trashed carb). I don't want to spend any more $ on this engine. I have a 4.3L from a Chevy S15 but don't want to deal with that swap. I think the 2.6L will be much cleaner and dependable.
