I've seen several tackle shops that made custom poles in FL. Lots of places do. These days I do all my tackle shopping at Walmart. If I were shopping for a custom rod I'd start with a google search, Unless I'm mistaken about where Alexandria is there should be some blue water tackle places not too far from where you are. Check yellow pages make some calls. It won't cost you much besides time. A 4' solid glass pole should be a piece of cake, someone that really knows their stuff might even know just what it is you want to replace and imitate.
