Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have a 90 pickup and want to swap in a tilt column. I found some old posts that said it is pretty straight forward. The column is from a 4runner, I'm pretty sure they are the same, but if anyone knows otherwise please jump in.

Thanks,
Matthew

I believe if you get them from the same generation vehicle where the fitment is good with the dash area, you'll be good to go. 4 bolts and your harnesses, basically. You'll need a paperclip to undo the key cylinder if wanting to keep the same stuff.

Thanks for the info. The column is from an early 90's runner. and thanks for the tip on swapping out the key cylinder.

Yer welcome. We have an fsm sticky'd in the early trucks section if you need it.

BTW, if you didnt' have delayed wipers before and this new column has them, you'll need the wiper relay behind/above the ECU on the pax side as well.
