Any of you guys seen this?:
Blower no workie on Lo and Medium, but great on Hi. Easy fix right? Replaced the resistor with a known good one, and CRAP: Still no Lo & Medium. Maybe it's the relay. Replaced with a known good one. Still no work.
Alright..measured voltage at the blower motor connector: On my working '80 truck, it's 12 volts at all Lo-Med-Hi positions, so it's just the current that obviously changes, thanks to a good resistor. But on the project '80, it's around 5 volts on Lo & Medium. Switch to Hi and the volts go to 12, and works great.
So, it's gotta be the Lo-Med-Hi switch, right? Anyone else seen this? If you have, and have the part number handy, I would love to hear from ya! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
