Mudrunner
I am pullin a code 14 -Igniter circuit/coil-. What are the tyical syptoms of this problem? Bad idle, rough running, poor power, etc.?? If is is just the circuit, I supposed I could have a bad ground somewhere; any digital multimeter tests I can run on this thing to see if it's in spec? Also, I realize that a new one is expensive so I was hoping to junkyard one. What other models use the same as my 95 22re? Is it the same on older 22R's?
Thanks,
Luke

I'm between toyotas right now... 3rd Gen 4-runner soon.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
check the 93FSM sticky in this forum. Go to engine/MFI system/troubleshooting, for your code 14 it says symptoms are: -Open or short in IGF or IGT circuit from igniter to ECM
- Igniter
- ECM
From there it will tell you what checks to make by page #'s on the far right hand side.
