I definately remember when they started running it here about ~15 years ago in the winter time that everyone was having fuel filter problems on a pretty regular basis. My whole family would go through a couple of fuel filters during the winter. After a few years of this, the problems seemed to go away.

I heard that it may have had something to do with the gunk being cleaned out of the tanks with the ethenal and plugging up the fuel filters, but who knows.

You know if we just went to one national blend of fuel, that should help reduce the cost refining it and therefore the price. Kind of funny, that there's no push for that. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that they want all the excuses they can muster to keep the prices high.
