Well, the oxidized '88 has been leaving quite a puddle wherever it's parked lately. It seems to be coming from the vicinity of the oil filter housing, as the puddle concentrates under that area. I thought it might be the pressure sender, but after a cleaning with engine-brite it shows no signs of a leak there.

Any common causes of leaks in this area? I plan on cleaning from the underside to see whether it might be the pan gasket, although the leak seems to be related to pressure since it stops dripping after a while when the truck is sitting. Could the oil pump be causing the trouble? I seem to recall it's in the same area under the timing cover.
