man if today got any worse!!! Started a few days ago... driving at night and my alt light cam on and the lights started going dim. Got home and noticed a small coolant leek from what looked to be teh lower rad hose going into the engine... No biggie grab 2 new hoses the next day and replace them and clean up the altinator... Stat up the truck and let it warm up and **** the leek is still their... Ok starting to piss me off..figure now its leeking out the weep hole on the water pump.. its comming from that general area.... so i go grab a new pump and go to installing it this morning.. getit all installed and fire the truck up again... let it warm up and check for leeks.... crap its leeking stillll.... so i start bending in positions i was never ment to bend and finnaly find the leek.... I did not really not want to find this... the water pum had went bad and wore a hole in the back of teh timming chan cover.... Lucky i had a spare... now to find gaskets... what luck 2nd phone call and found them at NAPA.... well my truck still sits apart 1/2 way into the re assembly.... If it leeks again im gonna shoot it

This actually does have an up-side.

Ya aren't sweatin' out the truck being along side the road or the trail and getting it out of there and home-- <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
