Has anyone experienced this before after cranking the front? It broke on BOTH sides and sheared the pins that hold the bal joint into the links. If so, what did you do about it? I have just removed the front sway bar for now, but am undecided if I want to try to extend the links. ![[Linked Image]](http://mark.barreira.org/images/web/AmigoSwayBar1.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://mark.barreira.org/images/web/AmigoSwayBar2.jpg)

Mine broke the same way without any lift. Happened when I was putting things back together after replacing ball joints. I think they are a bad design. Check out my post HERE to see the ones that I made to replace them. You can even make them as long as needed.

Thanks. I was actually thinking of doing something very similar, but wanted to see if anyone else had done it. This gives me a head start now! However, the handling isn't that much different without it - I might just leave it off and see if I can get through inspection!

One of mine broke when we were installing the front ARB air locker. Matt replaced them with his own quick disconnects. Indy 4X quick disconnects Pete

Mine also broke and I agree with the bad design idea. WHen I reordered them through Isuzu they sent one of a different design that seems like it would be a little less inclined to seperate like that.
When mine broke the first time I slipped it back on, made sure the 4 "nipples" went through the 4 holes, heated it slightly with a torch and hit the nipples with a hammer to get them to flatten out a little. It worked for well for a while after that, too. Although looking at the pics you've only got two nipples left
when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.
