I tried going a search but it seems the search feature isn't doing what I want it to do and brings back the same posts, which aren't answering my question.

I recently took out the 3" body lift from my 85 pickup. What a B*&^% that was, including a trip to the emergency room for stitches. Oh well, I got it down, back to stock, and it drives and looks much better.
Now, before I took out the lift kit I was getting a bad clunk in the steering column when I would hit a pothole. Now the clunk is gone, but I'm getting some resistance when turning, I loosened the steering column when I lowered the truck and it doesn't seem to be putting pressure on the bearings but I can't say for sure until I get home tonite and look some more.
My question is: is there a grease fitting on the steering box or u-joints? It's the old push/pull steering box.
Or do I just take the u-joints out and grease them up really good?

Thanks
