Bill, what you need to do FIRST is to pull the fuse for the fuel pump, or to unplug the fuel pump connector under the rear sear while the vehicle is running to de-pressurise the fuel system (tilt seat base fwd, small 3 sided carpet cut on (US) passengers side). Fuel sits in the fuel lines under pressure, even when the vehicle is not running Failure to do this will see fuel under 30 psi pressure commin' at ya...

Then disconnect battery.

The fuel filter/lines has a couple of clips on it that need to be pushed towards the filter to release them. Releasing the filter is straightforward.

Vehicle will be a bit slow to start up after the change as the fuel has to refill the lines and re-pressurise the system. Leave ignition on for about 10-15 secs before trying to start.
