On mine, it matched. It had a straight pipe on one side and a pipe with a 90 bend on the other side. The straight side went to the line from the tank and the 90 bend pipe went to the engine side. I never noticed a flow inticator, but did not have to worry since it looked like the old one. My Kia is a 98 though, so it may be different. Gary may know. Or call the parts store where you bought it.
