I have been attending an automotive tech class for two years and have done several swaps from honda to corvettes to ford rangers. I know what I am getting into and have a pretty wide range of tools accessable to me. I have been working in a corvette shop for two and a half years so I think I am ready for this swap. I found a 1991 S10 with a 4.3 that runs good and doesnt have a bit of trouble mechanically but the body is shot. One of my good friends owns and runs a junk yard so at the same time I found this S10, I also found a fullsize chevy d44 with 4.10 gearing ... so that is going under the rodeo also. I have already had the clutch rebuilt and I rebuilt the tranny in class so next is to rebuild the engine and then swap my completely new drive train in.

If you are thinking why would you do this to a rodeo then I personally dont think you have an understanding of my love for my truck. But I was looking for some write ups for tips and tricks and thought you guys would be the best to ask. thanks again sam.
