Im not sure i have a limited slip.

Open the hood on your Passport... Look for a metal plate that's attached to the firewall, with several 3 number/letter codes...

If one of those codes says 'G80', then you've go a Limited Slip Dif. - But if the code isn't there, you still might have the LSD, so...

With your Passport out of gear, the e-brake off, and the front wheels chocked - jack-up the rear so that both tires are off the ground (using jack stands and all other safety measures, of course)... Once it's in the air, manually rotate one of the rear tires...

If you have LSD, then both of the tires will turn in the same direction... If not, and you have an open differential, then they will turn in opposite directions.

You kind of need to know, either way - if for no other reason than when you change your differential fluid - otherwise, you might fail to use the required LSD additive (assuming that it's LSD) and toast it pretty soon after.

I'll let someone else field that other question -- My answer would probably take days to read <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
