Getting the Wheeling Fever
I've been searching for manual hubs for my '95 Trooper..I found a set of Aisins on a '90 Trooper, but am unsure of the spline count for that year.I remember seeing a discussion on which years/models fit,but for the life of me,I can't find it thru search. Also I read about using Dodge Ram frt.coil spaaers on the rear coils of Isuzu's.Is there a certain model Dodge I should be looking for? My local 4wd shop has no clue whatsoever...TIA...John

Thanks OneBadTrooper..thats what I thought..I just didn't want to get involved in pulling the hubs off and find out they were the wrong spline count....

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the older 8 bolt fronts had the 24 splines and that the newer 10 bolt had 17 spline. Hopefully someone will correct this if what I had read was wrong.

Yes'sir... newer ones are 17 spline. Any hubs from late '88 and up should bolt up just fine.

Parts interchange between the older and newer Aisin hubs. The older hubs had raised ears to turn the center engagement knob, having ears that stick out a half inch further makes it a whole lot easier to turn the knob into 4 wheel drive! You can recognize the older Aisin hubs due to the fact that the Allen bolts go through the top cover to hold everything together instead of having recessed Allen bolts with small bolts to hold the top on.

'94, and '00 Amigos and '00, 01 Rodeos. Rodeo springs and aftermarket 'hard top on 94. Aisin hubs OME 919's on the 2000 Amigo. 2000 and 2001 Rodeos have OME 912's and Aisin. Smoother ride with the OME 919's???

Dang, that sounds like a good thing to me...the allen bolts on my newer Aisins keep loosening up, it would be nice to be able to tighten them without having to remove the cap...
