It looks sturdy and very useful. Just wondering what would happen if you slide and hit a tree sideways from the front. I had the same idea, but I added a tube to the side to protect against such unfortunate thing taking place. What type of winch are you running? i have a WARN 8000 lb winch. The only regret I have is that it weighs 84 lbs. I'll try and get synthetic rope in the futura and eliminate about 20 pounds.
