Getting the Wheeling Fever

I've looked around on the search to try and find this info, but no luck. I replaced the timing belt about a month ago. Now with everything back together it runs rough and is using more gas. Also having trouble going up hills. As in aways having the tranny dropping down to make it up the hill. Now I should have replaced the tensioner (not realizing it was bad) so when I checked the timing it was shakey. But I need the dwell and that kind of info so I can make sure I'm not off by a tooth on the crank pulley. I looked for the mark on the case to line everything up but didn't find it when changing the timing belt so this is possible. Is there a way of checking that or can I just check the timing to see were I'm at.
