Welcome to the board! Depends on how loud you want it. I'll never forget the day I crawled up to within 30' of a sleeping deer once in a stock CJ7. Man it was quiet! My last CJ had a Thrush brand, cherry bomb type glass pack on it and it wasn't too loud. I think a straight pipe only would be a bit harsh.
