I seem to recall my truck having a 24 gallon tank. It's a standard-cab longbed. With 32x11.50's, 5.29 gears, and a little off-roading each tank, I have got 16.5 tops, with a low of 15.6 so far. I can squeak out 300 miles on one tank.

how are those 5.29s on the freeway with 32" tires???

how are those 5.29s on the freeway with 32" tires??? Not bad really. These trucks came with 4.90's stock, and I believe 31" tires. It runs about 2800rpm cruising 70-75mph.

Stock 5spd XtraCab 4x4 31"(265x70 16's) I get about 19-20 on an average with my best ever being 22. According to the spec sheet someone posted awhile ago I have 4.10s I run about 3100rpm on the highway@ 70mph. So I figure I do alright all things considered.

I have a 96 x-cab v6. I drive down a two lane highway to work and get about 20.8 average. I usually don't think about filling up until 400 miles on the odometer. But when my wife drives it I only get about 320-330 a tank. I guess a lot relies on how much foot you have in it... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />
