With an ohmmeter there should be more resistance in one direction between the spades than the other. I'll noodle the wiring digrams and try to figure out which is which...

I bought the alternator off the ever so evil, E-BAY!

The guy said it was the right one.

Said it just plugs in. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> Ya! sure.

Well I really want the 90 amp unit,
but . . . <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

And I am so busy at work, it's nuts, I have Boeing coming in tomorrow for a design review, and at the same time I am trying to buy a house. Mortgage guys keep calling me and I don't have time. Blah, blah, blah, sorry I'm venting. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

I am looking forward to trying my hand at wheeling.

Hope I can keep my cool big alternator.

Eddy:

I appreciate the help. If I can I'm going to see the automotive electric rebuilder on Saturday.

And would still love to hear from anyone else who might have done this modification before.

Thanks, <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
