For some reason I can't figure out my check engine light comes on at highway speeds around 65mph. It comes on for a couple of minutes then goes off. Then it will come back on after a few mintes and then go off again. This only occurs at highway speed not driving around town. The motor is a 22re with the a stock turbo. I've searched the forum but can't find anything. I'm not to worried about it just wondering if anybody else has had this problem or any ideas of what might be causing this.

Pull the trouble codes from the computer. It should record whatever is causing the light to come on.

My guess would be TPS. Mine has been doing that same thing and I just readjusted my TPS and all is well again. Where in NC are you?

When mine did that I think it was the O2 sensor.

Well it shouldn't be the o2 sensor b/c it is new. It might be the tps but its running fine and I don't know if I want to mess with it. Never pulled the codes before. Guess I'll have to look in the manual and see what it has to say. Or maybe I'll just take the bulb out and forget about it.
4x4runner...I'm on the outer banks... are you out west?

My truck also ran great but mpg was off, TPS was out of adjustment. I live in Winston Salem.
