Need a Spot

Jim,
the coolant level is good in the tank, but I can not check inside the radiator.I try to replace the temp sensor. The light is on for just a couple of sec, than off, again on(random).If the coolant is the problem, the light sould be on permanent. Right?
The coolant is not boiling, than in my opinion the sensor is bad.
