I have done quite a bit of research and found that the probable cause could be clogged lubrication holes in the valve train that are fairly small. I tried a lighter weight oil and after several thousand miles the tapping is making it's come back now. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

This is a question for all, if the problem truly is caused by poor lubrication from very small holes that get clogged easily, why wouldn't it be possible to open up the holes a bit? Exactly which holes would be causing the problem?
