Yeah, you got it now. That is strange that you're reading 110 ohms on the dot. Anyway, I think the only way to figure out what it is, is to drop the tank and take a look.

If you have to ask about a SAS, you're not ready for it.

Checked all the wiring, filled up to full. I originaly thought my tank had been siphoned, but it only took half a tank, which is where the needle was before the gauge dropped.

I checked the wiring all the way to the cluster and checked the resistances across the back of the gauges. It's definitely the sender. Like I said, it's less than 4 years old. Actually I'll check. Replaced 6/10/2003, factory part.

Cali truck with zero rust.

Now I just gotta wait for the tank to run down from full I guess. I'll post back when I find more out.

Yes, TAP has its problems and I try to buy as little from them as I can, however they were the cheapest in the area for a fuel sending unit last spring.

Try these guys Olympia 4x4's , they part ouit Toyotas as well, and their prices aren't to bad. I got a bumper end cap for $10, when everyone else wanted $25-45 for one. If you can't find the part online, they have a 1-800 number to contact them directly.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
