Had a shop do an estimate for me yesterday afternoon.. the skid plate and the tank both took on a pretty good dent, but the gas tank isn't actually leaking.
Garage said it's the sending unit.

Sending unit + gasket, bolts, etc = $149
2-3 Hours labor @ 50/hour = $150
Driveshaft = *shrug* whatever
Ujoints = I don't remember.... like 50 bucks


I think I'd be willing to cut them some slack with the tank as long as the tank doesn't take on a HUGE cut in capacity. I'm sure it's not much at all.

Should I have them build me another 1-piece or should I have them build me a 2-piece like stock?

I'm pretty nervous about the 1piece now; I'm fairly certain they wouldn't be willing to do it a 3rd time for free if something screws up again. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
