So what you're saying is.. If I make any personal threats to him I have to make sure that I'm the only one that would be carrying them through? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />

>>>*"Coupla years back there was this crusty old coot down the street, ran a tuneup shop.
He was actually pretty good except he kept this jug of Jack in his office and by around 2 in the afternoon he was best off not talking to anyone at all, or trying to do any work.
One day one of his customers came in, yelling about a job he did that messed up, stalled on the freeway, on and on. I knew the customer, too, wouldn't work for him because he seemed to have a black cloud that followed him and he hated everybody and everything.
The situation deteriorated from words to throwing things, the old coot dragged out his .357 Magnum and fired one off at the guy, lucky he was drunk so he missed. The customer understood quickly that this wasn't good at all and took off running with the old coot hot on his tail, blazing away. He stopped once to catch his breath and reload, then took off after him again. He did manage to hit one parked car and a telephone pole, lord knows where the rest of the rounds went. That mess went on for over 15 minutes. I could hear the noise but no way was I going out there.
Out of ammo, he went back to his shop and his jug of Jack and the cops showed up to "discuss" the situation. End of that shop, though. The guy got a long term government vacation.
I did see the customer one time after that, he stopped in to ask me some questions about his truck.
*Smiling! *Called me, "Sir"...heehee.
Guess he thought I was an old coot, too..which I am but I don't have any booze around, and the guns are at home.
Best to always approach a problem with a calm and reasonable voice and be willing to negotiate, it works best....*EB
