Pooky! done correctly works just fine, gaskets done incorrectly leak. It is all in the prep and cleaning of surfaces. I've sealed many a amc 20 with just pooky, but the secret there is to let the (fairly large) bead of glop set up for 20 minutes or so before putting the cover on.
(put the pooky on the diff not on the cover)
