Ok So I installed a set of Tera low's in the transfer case, and to make it easier I took the trans out to do gear install. Reinstalled trans with new clutch disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Now clutch will not completley disengage, i.e. I can start the truck in gear and it wont go forward, clutch operates semi normally, grabs suddenly at top of travel. If I try to start in neutral and shift into gear it grinds/ wont go into gear.
Question if I didn't get the throw out bearing completely seated in the pressure plate would it cause syptoms like this? - not releasing completely?
Did I booger something else up?
Cliff notes: New clutch set, now won't release completely...
Oh one more thing does anyone have pictures of how the wiring on this trans goes? I seem to have more connections on the trans than I do on the harness. The 4wd indicator and backup lights workso at least i didn't screw that up too. Have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal? I had to adjust mine after I installed a new clutch.

I didnt have too, Make sure your fluid is good and no air in the line by accident? how about the slave cylinder. Most clutch systems are alike in someway,is there a lot of clutch "chatter" or shaking when it finally grabs and what company makes the clutch. My clutch is a stage 2 by CenterForce and IT GRABS VERY HARD, Almost impossible to drive in moderate traffic at times. Im not really sure about hwo a throw out bearing would act like if gone bad or stuck, never had any problems other than the slave cylinder leaking which lead to the destruction of the OE replacement about 4 months after it was installed, by me......

how about the slave cylinder. Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! I looked at it again yesterday after some rest and noticed that there wasn't enough stroke from the slave cylinder to disengage the clutch. Bleeding the lines helped, but not enough. After R&R the master and slave cylinder Everything once again works as it should. So to you 88 Super Trooper. Thanks -Erik
