I didn't really want to drill holes in the YJ transmission for the CPS. I have heard some horror stories about getting it located perfectly? So I was going to us the XJ tranny that already has it. I was looking forward to selling my YJ tranny & engine to recoup some cash.
I think slotting the skid plate holes would be the easiest. I have a cutting torch, welder, drills, grinders and pretty much everything else needed to work on metal so if I need to modify some items I can. IÆm running out of time because hunting season is around the corner, but I donÆt want to cut any corners.
Would you think adding an inch or under in length is going to effect my drive lines like binding them? I have a 3.5ö lift with 33ö tire on my YJ also.
