Ok then do this:
Look down into the top of the carb. There are some vent tubes pointing UP down there. Sometimes these get crapped up and no longer function properly.
The thing to do is get a wire and carefully poke the wire into the tubes to clean em up.. This has improved the idle for lots of guys.
