So when I was in a jam on Friday, I searched a bunch and found a few threads about Zerk fittings for the lower ball joints. This thread shows a ball joint with the Zerk fitting coming out of the side. The ones I took out of mine were "supposed" to be on the top. I noticed a while back that my Zerks were gone. Maybe some gremlin in the night took them. This turned out to be a bad thing.
