What vehicle and year? The ones with the 10 bolt front will handle up to roughly a 33 without much problem. There have been people running 35s, but with 35s, CV carnage is more prominent. If you've got the 8 bolt front, then I'm not too sure on that one. But from what I've read about the difference in strengths between the 8 bolt and 10 bolt, I'd guess that the 8 bolt couldn't handle much more than a 31 without problems. But that's just a rough guess.

FWIW, 10 bolt fronts are in all the Isuzus from roughly 88 and on. I believe the official year is 87, but I'm not 100% sure on that ... and knowing how Isuzu likes to reuse old parts, there might be some 8 bolt 87s. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
