What I did was to make sure that everything that needs oil has somekind of oil/reasembly lube on it (espessally the inside of the cylinder walls). I used the 10w-30/10w-40 for 100 low reving miles, I kept RPM's below 3K. Did an oil change and filter after the 100 miles. Then slowly started to drive normally. Then @ 3000 mile change oil again.

Word of caution, use only water @ first. This way if you have any leaks it's not as messy at antifreeze. Once you verify that you have no leaks it is easy to drain, properly mix and fill.
