I just did my motor over the summer. The new motor has less than 2K <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I run the Green stuff. I can find it anywhere and everywhere. I Just wouldn't mix them.

Oil on the cylinder walls will just make the motor smoke for a little while. I just didn't want bare metal on metal. I took a paper towel/shop rag with 10w-30/10w-40 on it and wiped the cylinder walls with that. Make sure your rings are nice and lubed too.

After the break in oil, I just put in another 4.5-5quarts of 10w-30/10w-40. I just wouldn't just the high, $$$ performace oils that are out there. I hear that they don't let the motor break in right. Don't know if it is true or not but just to be safe. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
