Mickey Thompsons wear really hard, which means more mileage. The BFG KO's are alot softer tread compound better traction on wet surface but do not wear for very long on the street. Its a Toss up. Mickey's ARE much heavier than the KO's. Your Best Bet is to have them Siped. In Case you dont know what that is: Its where you take a Tire and CUT Slices in the tread, ONLY do the Center OF the TREAD. This will make them last longer, Wear better because they run cooler, and YOUR traction Goes thru the Roof because the tire in opening up for more tread on the ground. I work in a Tire shop and have done one set of each, Mickey's and the KO's, and the Mickey's lasted longer and the Traction between the 2 was about the same after the Siping. NOISE wise the Mickeys were VERY LOUD and the KO's were better about it. Since BFG is owned my MICHELIN they also rode better. I would go witht eh Mickey's if the price is right they last longer. Although if you like the Spin your tires DONT do the Siping you will rip the lugs right off same with gravel roads ( off roading is ok, Ie: Slow speed, tire runs cooler ) as well try to avoid that all together. For the Price of Siping it's well worth it, Your Doing your self a Favor by making the Life of the tire extend. and your traction.
