Body Damage is Cool
What year 2.6 had the distributor with a bolt on cap?
The cap for a 90 model is held on with 2 clips, the one I have is held on with 2 screws.

Thanks

Bansil

IIRC, distributors out of the Trooper 2.6 were held on with the 2 clips. Distributors out of the Amigo/Pickup/Rodeo 2.6 were held on with the 2 screws. To the best of my knowledge, that was the only difference. I don't believe it was year-wise specific. The only way a Trooper could have a screw on cap, or a Amigo/Pickup/Rodeo a clip on cap, is for someone to have changed the distributor out. That's to the best of my knowledge. I looked into this a bit when I had my 2.6 in my pickup. I got tired of trying to get to those screws. But hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge on that will either confirm or get you the right information.
