Anybody know a good source for body parts for my 81 shortbed. Specifically I need the one touch release tailgate, but truth be told I could use a who new bed? Live in San Antonio so someting close would be good

Other than http://www.car-part.com/ I don't know of a source for replacement beds. There is a guy on here (I think he goes by CJM?) that has fiberglass parts.

Forgive my ignorance, but how durable are the fiberglass parts? Well there are still a number of 1954 Corvettes running around.
