I haven't heard of any issues with the Tacoma tranny. I seem to get better MPG with the ECT turned on? Don't really understand why that would be the case?

I engage the locker before the getting stuck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> You'll need to have the transfer case in 4WD-low range before the computer will let the locker engage. Even then you might have to drive forward a few feet while turning side to side to help it engage. To use it in 2WD or 4WD(high) you'll need to do the 'locker mod' found here.
