I've read on another forum that the Power mode can be harmful to the overdrive system in the earlier '01-'02 Tacoma's causing transmission failure - anyone heard of any issues with Tacoma's auto's?

Also, on the locker, obviously we would use the button in a really stuck situation? Or does it come on automatically?

I believe it will only do that if you have the TRD blower with URD fuel kit, and a non-upgraded valve body in the tranny. Stock, it should be fine.
And i believe it's a 4 speed auto, they didnt put 5 speed auto in until 2005... (i believe)
