Search online for a writeup on the swap... Several have done it, and some even documented it with pictures.

You don't need to take the front end off the truck to remove the engine... Just take the hood off. When the radiator is out, there is plenty of room to get the engine out. Remember, a 4 cyl is longer than a V6, and the 4yl fits through the hood opening fine.

I even removed my eingine/tranny/t-case as one unit before, right out of the hood opening.

Use a cherry picker to remove it, and an engine stand to hold it in place.
