Ya, that gas tank thing on all the 4runners is probably one the worse things about them. I watched a guy in front of me on a hairy, muddy, snowy steep downhill get hung up on his tank. Almost caused him to go sideways, which would have been the last we saw of him. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

I think this is one case, where Toyota just got lazy and continued using the pick-up style tank when they could have made a unique style and tucked it up better.
