One thing is that the tailgate doesn't open. I was wondering if the rear window has to be down to open it? The motor is shot in the window. This is a problem I'm definitely going to fix but I need to know where to start. Try using a small 12v battery to bring the motor down, i've actually had to use my 7.2v R/C car battery once and it worked fine.... Probably needs a relay though. I also took out the switch in the tailgate that prevents you from opening the tailgate with the window up. You have to at least have it past the tracks in the top before you bring it down though.
