I ran 33x10.50's on the stock 15x7 IFS aluminum rims and liked them a lot. The only downside with this size is that only BFG and perhaps Dunlop makes them. Not that it's a bad thing really, I loved my BFG T/A KO's and they're already siped. FWIW, I also ran them with and without ball joint spacers with no problems whatsoever. I also managed to get them for a really good price from 4wheelparts during one of those "employee price + free shipping" events.

I did take the initiative to have an adhesive put on the tire before it was mounted to the rim. Be careful with that crap though- I still have it along the side of my truck a year later.

This is coming from someone who would rather fit the widest tire on the smallest rim possible. I'm currently running 35x12.50's on a 15x8 in order to air down without worrying about losing a bead. Don't be fooled though- running a really wide tire on a narrower rim will cause the tire to "sway" more when cornering on roads at normal speeds....

Having worked at a tire store for way too long I could go on and on about the pros and cons, but as long as you stay within the "reccommended" limits of the tire and wheel you'll be just fine.
