Hi guys, I have a 91 4x4 ext cab 4 cyl 5 spd and have a chance to buy a 92 same trk with 6 cyl. Man says the truck runs good but has a bad coil and no spark so naturally I cant hear it run. Question is , Will the 4 cyl coil work to test the 6 cyl. Also if the clutch saftey switch was bad, would it kill spark at the coil. The the man is asking only $500 but I dont need another dead horse sitting around. Thanks for and advice.

Will the 4 cyl coil work to test the 6 cyl not entirely sure but i wouldnt seem to think so. Also if the clutch saftey switch was bad, would it kill spark at the coil no, it interupts the starter circuit so the truck will not crank.
