Hi all, well, im back and all didnÆt go as planned...the morning before I was to leave, the throttle cable snapped, causing the rodeo to be stuck on park...I was late to works and had to pay 80 for towing. What a stressful day...I wasnÆt going to let that hold me back, so I got a rental...I went for an economical car, but they were out, so hertz gave me a free upgrade; a 2006 Subaru AWD outback. IÆm thoroughly impressed. That car handled the twist and turns of highway 1 like a dream and staying @ 80mph most of the straight-aways without pushing 3500 rpms was also nice...that said Im also glad the cable snapped here then halfway up to san Francisco. That would have ruined the entire trip. IÆm turning in the Subaru today and picking up the rodeo from the shop. IÆm gonna miss that outback, and welcoming back my Rodeo with open arms...
