I've got 34's now with no issues in the rear. no "clearancing" was needed. It's a tight when the tire is stuffed up in there, but if it doesn't rub somewhere you don't have big enough tires, right?

The front on the other hand has been hacked up pretty good.
Rim's are offset 3.75" and I have a 3" body lift.

Hey Jeremy long time no see.

You have 3+3 lift right? body and suspension. Are you running the LTB 34x10.50?

That's what I'm looking at doing, the 35's are just too darned expensive. I think I'll be fine with a 3" body lift and the LTB's.

I'm not rubbing at all in the front with the 285's, but I do rub in the rear when I get flexed. I guess some bumpstop extensions can be thrown together and added after the body lift if I need them.

Thanks guys,
Joe

Hey Joe,
I'm hoping to make it to one of the Uwharrie events in 07 since I missed last year altogther. It'll be good to see everyone again.

I'm running TrXus 34x12.5
And yes its a 3" body lift and OME 912's in the back. I don't know how far the front is cranked bacause I didn't really measure the difference. I think its less than 3 because I gained a lot of clearance in all that extra fender they gave me

The trxus 33's I had were more like 32's and the 33" swampers (TSL) I had were closer to 34" brand new and they fit, so I jumped up in size because it didn't look there would be any issues.

I think the'll fit, they will fit 35x12.5 on 15x8. but not for wheeling.

The front of the turtle when it's bound up crossing a ditch, will stuff the front so far that when the tires 33x12.5 are turned there is about a pinky finger clearance at the top of the front fender.

If you get rid of "The cuteness" and trim the upper part of the fender then they will clear and turn.
The only issue in the back besides maybe rubbing on the door will be a 10" wide wheel, then you'll crunch the tire, like the fellow in the white rodeo with 32/33" did at Callantee, the crunch was bad enough to stop the tires...
Maybe I'll throw some 35's on this weekend and snap a few pics.

Nope, that's entirely true, but I've still gotta throw you guys a bone now and then and grace you with my presence.

I remember seeing a photo a while back of chris perosi's old 2nd gen amigo on 35's and on the trail.
Peter's (Pplotz) amigo has 35's as well.

But I guess the question was about Rodeo's wasn't it..

BTW, just for the record, the 'talk' was that Moab must have spoiled you.

Hope to see you in April, Bro!
I'll bring my 12amp Craftsman - maybe Joe will wait and let you clearance his fenders for him
