i was able to get the front fitting off, but i think that the above comment is right. also, as a minor note, make sure that their is no pressure in the line (i know im just repeating things) and also leave the gas cap on. when i did mine, i was under the truck, and my brother opened the gas cap (y i still dont know) and gas started running out of the line. i was able to plug it, but recieved some rather nasty chemical burns down my left arm and side, from my chin to my waist.
