Need a Spot

I have been searching for this answer for some time now. On the Internet, in the owners manual, and the Haynes repair manual. I have Been looking for the Normal Operating Temp for an 88 Auto Montero. I was replacing the radiator fan with an electric one. I purposely did not buy a switch with it. But I did not know it was going to be so hard to find the answer to this. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Welcome to the board. Have a long and healthy stay.
Do you have a 2.6 or a 3.0? It might be a good idea to edit your profile to reflect the specifics of your truck. Much easier to help you then...
I'm not really sure why you're choosing to put an electric fan in. As long as the clutch and shroud on the stock fan setup are in good shape, there's plenty of cooling capacity there without having to reinvent the wheel.
87 Montero, bought new, by me - 88/89 intercooled Starion Turbo engine- with awesome audio.

Just get an adjustable switch.
185-190*F, just like the thermostat...
