He is driving a mid-80's Subaru hatchback. He and another Subaru junkie custom forged a lift for the thing. Since it's a unibody car I believe the lift attaches between the differentials and the body/frame of the car. It's also 4-wheel independant suspension, so further lift was created by cranking on all 4 torsion bars.
It's an interesting ride, to say the least.
